     Few authors have such a diverse combination of experience, skills, and knowledge to credibly write fiction novels. H. Melvin James has traveled and worked throughout the world in various industries and jobs, from manual labor to industrial plant management. 
     Mr. James has designed and built computers, decoded top secret messages, managed projects on many strategic and classified aircraft including Air Force One. His skills include welding steel, driving an 18-wheeler, flying airplanes, and building hot-rod engines. James can design and build a house, skin and butcher a deer, and wire a manufacturing plant for electrical power. 
     H. Melvin has college degrees in electrical engineering and business management. He can dehorn, brand, and castrate beef cattle, operate a bulldozer, and compose bookkeeping ledgers to account for multi-million-dollar projects. Outside of industry he held many offices including town mayor and Chamber of Commerce  board member.  He has written and published several highly rated literary fiction novels.
