About
A. Keith Carreiro is a multi–award–winning author who lives in southeastern Massachusetts. Keith holds master’s and doctoral degrees from Harvard Graduate School of Education where he studied creativity and critical thinking. He teaches English as an adjunct professor at Bridgewater State University.
He has an abiding love and passion for the visual, literary, and performing arts. At an early age, he started playing the classical guitar and toured professionally as a solo concert classical guitarist in the 70s throughout North and South America. He started writing poetry in high school. Reading, music, storytelling, and movies became some of his major passions, all of which set him on a lifelong path of exploration in creativity. For him, poetry forms the basis upon which all imagination and storytelling unfold.
Since 2014, he has been writing a planned nine‒book series titled The Immortality Wars. It is a sci‒fi, fantasy, and spiritual thriller based on Christian themes concerning the fate of human civilization. The first trilogy, the Penitent, was published by Stillwater River Publications and Copper Beech Press in August 2019. The second trilogy, the Pilgrim – Part I, was published by Copper Beech Press and released in September 2024 in Dublin, Ireland. He is currently working on the Pilgrim – Part II.
Keith also had the honor of writing one of the chapters in Stephen King’s nonfiction book, Hearts in Suspension (2016).
